This painting is of historical interest as the Sibelco sand loading Plant will soon be demolished , so I considered it worth preserving.

'Harvester' is a painting of a sugar cane harvester on my sister's sugar cane farm at Woongoolba near Jacobs Well. This painting epitomises Queensland to me, and it will be a sad day when the sugar mill closes at Rocky Point and the area is bought by developers.
